Easter

Easter came very quickly since we just got back from vacation late Saturday night. Hannah was a bit disappointed that she didn't paint easter eggs this year, but we just didn't have the opportunity. I guess we could have done them on vacation, but I wasn't so interested in transporting them back home. So instead, the Easter Bunny brought plastic eggs this year! Worked out just fine!

Hannah woke up early and came in our room excited for it to be Easter and wanted to see if the Easter Bunny had come. This was the first holiday like this she really got excited for first thing in the morning.

She was excited to see both she and Nicholas had easter baskets. She opened her gifts and then used her basket to find the eggs around the house.

We all got ready for the day. Hannah had a beautiful new dress from Grandma K.

We left to meet my Dad and Julia for brunch. It's always so good and it was mine and Tony's last big meal before going back on the sensible eating routine post-vacation. Dad even held Nicholas, although didn't look so comfortable doing so!!! Anyway, they both got new John Deere stuff in their baskets!!

After brunch, we went to Dawn's and hung out there for the afternoon. It was a beautiful day and Hannah played outside and Nicholas got to soak up lots of lovin' from everyone!

And here's a little dose of Nicholas cuteness from the past couple of days for you all! It'll be nice when he gets a neck!!!
